What’s your reason for blocking your ex even though you broke up with him/her but not in a bad way (no cheating involved)?

My ex broke up with me because we couldn’t tolerate LDR
I wanted to stay friends with him cause he’s still a special person to me
But he asked me “Why stay friend? When never see you again”
And he said “I don’t want you on my ig” so he blocked me everywhere except for Whatsapp

I just feel really really bad cause I think we can stay friends
And wonder what his reason is

I broke up with ex because just couldn’t fit in his life style. He hanged with his friends all the time. And he lied about wanting to have an evening with me once. When someone lies it hurts my core I breakup lot of times because of them.
One time He left me at bus stop for an hour. I always made the effort to visit him. He always had an excuse why he couldn’t come to mine. He never had any money to come to see me. But always had it for his habit. I had enough when he said he wanted to make me streetwise. Wasn’t into gangs anyway. So I planned on breaking up with him on the phone. It was hard. But did the right thing. As it was making me miserable. I was getting pains, feeling of being trapped. Soon as I did it. I felt so much better. Just knew it wouldn’t of worked out.

In my case his mother was an evil bitch and the bitch asked him to break up with me so I blocked him out of anger. This was way back in 2011 back then it was only Facebook I was 18 at that time he was 17 .

See, I agree with him. Its a waste to remain friends, but girls always seem to want to do that. He blocked you, so that's a good enough of a reason to block him. :)
