Why do people (Mainly girls) block their ex soon as they break up?

So you have a 3-year relationship, with its ups and downs. Things get a bit bad (Arguments) not insulting etc. But overall the relationship was good and has so many good memories. Either way, you decide to break up. To the dumpers specifically, why do you then go blocking them from everywhere like they are enemies and that the 3 years didn't have any meaning?

If they block somebody its usually because they view the person as morally flawed or because they do not want to see updates about their life.

Well that sounds a bit harsh. After all if there wasn't a really big problem, does people need to end things in a bad way? What about the good memories? Don't they mean anything after all?

It is something rare when u mutually decide to part ur ways honey... usually u break it due to sum problems n in tht case no point of keeping things on...

She used to say I was hurt so many times because of my emotions, therefore I don't have or show too much anymore etc. She used to claim She is more logical (like during the first stages of our relationship)
