Not really. There is nothing about it to celebrate.
The holiday originally served to honor the accomplishments and contributions of Italian Americans, particularly in a historical context when they faced discrimination. But I don't care to celebrate someone who enslaved and mistreated indigenous people.

I have celebrated Indigenous People's Day on Columbus Day many times.
