Do you think an 18-year age gap between a couple is too awkward or just big enough to be interesting?

As long as both parties involved are over the age of 18, it's not really my business. What matters more is the emotional maturity of the individuals, whether they have common interests, similar values. Also, I don't believe that a person's emotional maturity and life experiences are necessarily related to their age. For example, it's possible for someone to have lived a relatively cloistered/sheltered life either out of choice or circumstances. So yeah, as long as it's not some crazy difference, where one party is old enough to be the parent or grandparent of the other one, (which risks power imbalances) it should be fine

Tbh I think attraction can be mutual but I find a successfully long term relationship (if That's your goal) might be problematic or at least more difficult to have if there's such a big difference.
