Certain people who had different outlooks of past and future were actually enjoyable as they brought new ideas or aspects into a relationship.

If you have some similar interests and things you enjoy you seem to spend more time together building a more meaningful relationship.

Diff interest, yes I hv but diff beliefs / faith, no I hvn't even though like that, it still taught me that shared values matter far more than shared hobbies..

Interests can differ, beliefs can vary, but mutual respect, emotional maturity, n alignment on what truly matters define whether a relationship thrives..

Yea it didn't work out
He tried to influence me and sometimes I tried to influence him
Ended up getting mad at each other for testing our non-negotiable
Sometimes I would let him do things I really didn't agree with to make him happy

Drinking and I go to church on Sunday
He wanted me to skip some services
Also to cut my parents off when they do something I dislike
I wasn't supposed to be having sex but I got addicted to his dick, but when we broke up, he still wanted to have sex with me
I said no to sex but gave him oral sex because I wanted to see him happy because it still made me happy
But I don't do that anymore either

That's kinda where I'm at too. He smokes weed and likes to drink here and there. I like going to church too and haven't in a while. He has two boys too which makes it harder to get up and go places I want it to just be us most of the time but it can't be like that. He treats me well but sometimes I feel our interests and beliefs don't align

Yes and things didn’t work out because this person only wanted to marry because their religion required it.. I don’t believe that should be the only reason someone gets married. It should be done because you want to spend your life with them.
