What would you do if a person that rejected you, started to like after years?

There is this guy i liked years ago and he didn't want me and started dating his classmate. The truth is that i was twelve and he was 16yo so it was kind of stupid and pointless. I still find him attractive but we don’t each other well and i moved on

Nothing wrong with the topic itself but what was the point in providing an example that has nothing to do with it? You weren’t rejected and even if you had been, you were 12 years old lol not in any position to be dating. Let alone some dude who turns 18 in 2 years. I wouldn’t use that as a reference whatsoever and instead just address the fact that you still find him attractive but moved on with your life.

Went out with a 'girl' for quite a while, and she regretted me sexually, in lieu of other sexual partners. She told me later, she did not find me physically attractive at that time, and of course, that hurt. Much later, after some bad experiences with the more attractive guys, she found me "acceptable" as a sex partner, and we went on for two years. Later on she wanted to get married, and I could not get over the bitterness and some resentment that I felt during the earlier rejections. I lived to regrat not marrying her.

Most halfway decent looking 16 year old guys will get attention from a 12 year old or under at some point in life.

If you’re a full grown adult now and so is he the dynamic changes
Now you’re two adults making conscious decisions.
You don’t have to base your relationship with this guy on what happened when you were probably too short to reach the top of the fridge

If you’ve already moved on, you don’t owe him any emotional investment just because he’s suddenly interested now. You can choose to be friendly, observe how he treats you, and see if his interest is genuine or just based on convenience or attention. There’s nothing wrong with enjoying the glow-up moment, but only engage if *you* actually feel a real connection now, not because he finally decided you’re worth noticing.

You were 12. Of course he wasn't going to be interested in you then. He may very well be interested in you now that you are both adults. He didn't reject you as a person, you just weren't old enough to date. How do you feel now? If he's showing some interest, that's pretty normal.

As someone who unfortunately longs for a girl who rejected me, I would die of joy. However, it was a situation where she rejected me because I was too late and a retard. I had a large and now obvious windows to do something, and I completely failed.
