I'm single because there is not significant reason to change that. The longer a person is single and the older they get there simply is less reason to. Why? Why would I change that now? What does a woman bring to my life at this point beyond a lot of baggage and hostility towards my gender? At a certain age a guy just wants peace and happiness. Well I have peace, and I have relative happiness. Could I be happier? Yes. But I could be miserable linking up with the wrong woman. So if I meet the right woman I'll re-evaluate. Until then, I'm just going to enjoy my solitude.
