I know 4 billionaires and 2 guys who own sizeable mid cap companies but are far from billionaires and their children in each case. Here are the 2 things that keep them up at night and cause them insecurity.

Inherited wealth. Their children and how to raise them without condemning them to be crippled by entitlement. But they want to give them the best in life. But they don't want to take away their work ethic and sense of personal accomplishment.
Money. Who are my real friends? Who are my children's friends? Who can I trust? How can I tell? What can I do to protect myself and my family. This gets worse as they age and lifetime friends and pre-wealth friends die off. It can become paranoia. They feel isolated and become obsessed with security.

Be careful what you wish for! Sooner or later the money will own you.

Most likely. I have studied body language and i’m better than most at detecting what people aren’t overtly presenting. A talented and experienced con artist can probably still pull one over on me, but i would probably work harder if i had more to lose. I also like to think that i would not be lavish in my spending. So gold diggers would neither detect me easily nor appreciate how hard they would have to work to get a piece.

If I were wealthy, money would be irrelevant in any connection I choose.

True intention isn’t hidden behind a wallet, it shows in curiosity, respect, effort, and alignment with my values.

I don’t need someone to match my bank account, I need someone to match my energy.

If she starts asking about how much I will spend on things that means money is a big factor to her

Call me old fashioned but I want my woman to stick around if I was flat broke

Since I wouldn't show it off it would be hard for them to tell I was more than upper middle class unless they worked for my bank. I would be driving a BMW or 4-Runner, not a Lamborghini or Rolls.
