I think females are very willing to approach a man, depending on the man, and the circumstances.

He might be:-

Tall, dark, and handsome.

Wealthy.

Married.

With Influence in society.

Popular.

Or she might need the mans help, and his assistance.

People meet people in so many different ways. The idea a stranger sees someone and walks right up to them and starts a conversation (as an approach) likely is rare for anyone. But I’m sure girls break the ice with guys just like guys do with girls.

And the man. I knew a VGL guy who often was approached by women. But he was probably in the top 1% by looks.

He was also a very nice guy (no not in the BS meaning way often used herein) but I don't think that had much to do with it.
