Like it says, would you date someone who has had plastic surgery in order to feel better about themselves and who have improved self confidence because of it or are you so vehemently opposed to the idea that you'd refuse to date them?

@ez-bri-z_v2 After myself having a lot of plastic surgery, I could never resent someone for doing the same thing. It has improved my life, and outlook and feelings of confidence.

Yes I would and I did. My wife had her nose done before I met her. Been married 26 years now and I still think she is beautiful.

While I secretly would prefer someone 100% natural I also do realize that beauty standards are often (if not always) INCREDIBLY unrealistic and linear so I can't blame people for wanting to fit more into it. Those standards shouldn't exist in the first place but they DO and people just want to fit in.

And I often hear that plastic surgery when REALLY well done is pretty much undetectable anyway, that you only notice the really bad ones. That a lot of beautiful people (usually celebrities) we think are "100% natural" do actually have plastic surgery done but it's not noticeable.

So all in all not a big deal at all.

Prefer not to if I'm being honest it's a turn off if someone needs a doctor to cut them up and rearrange them for them to feel better about themselves. And I hate plastic surgery for the most part I think it just does more harm then good.

How can you expect someone to like you if you don't genuinely like yourself?

I'm ok with it though if someone got into an accident and actually required it because it they got messed up physically like disfigured or something. That's a little bit different.

But if someone already looks normal or looks good then no.

I dunno. What if it's like in the movie "The Substance" and it becomes its own entity and stuff and then I don't know if I'm really dating the person or the entity that the plastic surgery caused and then it gets all really confusing.

Nope I won't unless it's done because of a serious medical condition that needed plastic surgery.

But I absolutely get turned off massively with woman who did plastic surgery. I have never seen anyone looking better from it then they where before

It depends.

If they were in a car crash or a burning building and suffered disfiguring burns as a result I'd be open to it.

Otherwise I'd most likely regard it as a turn-off and a sign the person wasn't able to fully accept themselves as they are.

Yes I would. I don't believe it would bother me - especially if it makes them happy and feel good about themselves.

My mom had plastic surgery on her nose and her eye lids when she got older.

My sister had plastic surgery on her nose, but man, she really needed it! Bless her heart.

Just as long as it improved their looks and not detracted from it. She even had her eyeballs tattooed and it cost her, her sight I think tats like this qualify as plastic surgery 😫

Bee there, done that. When she was a little girl, she fell down a flight of stairs and broke her nose, making it bigger than it already was and the Dr. made it look like an ordinary nose, not big at all.
I would rather not have someone that's had a lot of work done. I've seen the results plenty of times and those broads look SCARY AS FUCK!!

Yeah, I’d date someone who’s had plastic surgery — it’s their body and their choice. If it helps them feel more confident and happy, that’s what really matters. What counts most is their personality and how we connect, not whether something was “natural” or not.

Yes, especially if it's to have bigger melons. Though if the surgery ends up with them looking like a lizard person... Then I'll be off that mostly only happens when it's something done to the face, which I don't think is worth the risk.

i would date with someone had prastic surgery but if only he was really had to do such as excident or he had really big nose that he doesn't comfortable with.
But if he does nose surgery for only to fit beauty standart i would not i think

I would  But I wouldn’t be attracted to someone with sever body dysmorphia  If I feel she will likely get more and more surgery and eventually look like a blow up doll I would call it quits early on

No I'm not vehemently opposed to the idea. But I'd say choose wisely. Don't become addicted to cosmetic surgery as a solution to all your perceived imperfections.

Yes, if she was disfigured or if she had some body shame issue. If the got a big pair of boobs just to attract men maybe I might think twice. I think women are a lot more than a pair of boobs.

Depends on what has been done. If a woman feels insecure about her boobs being too big and it's effecting her health, no problem. Or a guy who's having his eyelids done, okay with me.

I won't go so far as to say no, but very unlikely. When someone in my age range has plastic surgery, it demonstrates a combination of vanity, insecurity and other characteristics that I'm not interested in.
