I’m asking for myself and some friends.
i won’t speak on there experiences much, but we do have obviously a few things in common when it comes to this topic.
ill start with dating, and this can definitely go both ways between men and women. But in this instance its the men that we’ve been around and seen on social media that have kinda ruined it for us.
lets not start with the “pick better” thing, I’ve never been in a relationship before but I’ve been around guys who talk about how it’s “cool” to cheat.
but I constantly hear about how men like to cheat at any convince, the woman there with doesn’t want sex for the night? Then they automatically think about cheating. It’s just really odd to me that it’s like that.
the next would be sex. the way men talk about sex, does disgust me. Because they call it “bonding” yet they’re telling all of there friends what the sex was like…. That’s just rude to the partner, that he would feel okay with talking in detail about something that’s supposed to be shared between him and his partner. Also the whole hook up culture, which is both men and women. But it gets to a point where they play as if they want a relationship then switch up when the girl won’t have sex with them once the relationship starts.
Now I’ll say this, I’m not asexual or into woman at all, I’m into men. Which I hate that I have to state this because everytime I ask a question on here at least 2-3 guys claim I'm “asexual” just because I said I wouldn’t have sex with a guy I just got into a relationship with.
I grew up not wanting to do hook ups or sleep around, so why would I have sex with a guy I just started dating? That would mean that I’m easy and don’t value myself at all. I just don’t want to have sex with a guy right from the jump, waiting 2-3 months into the relationship is okay. It gives me time to figure out if the dude is possibly abusive, or if he’s just there for the sex.
