Guys can notice it but don't have emotional attachment to the flaws or know better than to comment negative details about a girl in front of them.
They usually only mention on things a girl can change as nicely as they can for the girl's sake, but it's very difficult because it seems shallow or for self-interest only. Things that a girl can change so they can feel better is exercise, eating a healthier diet (not because they look fat but the heart/mind feel more sharp and free if one eats well), taking a shower.. etc.
i think they notice but do not say anything. Because it would hurt us. For example yesterday my guy friend was like your ass is getting firmer, must be that running. Getting a runners ass. Haha. But yeah. You see?
Guys do notice details but probably not to the extent that girls nitpick over. We definitely won't notice that you gained a few pounds unless it looks painfully obvious or you mention it to us. Same with a slight trim to your hair/bangs, dry skin (unless it feels like a construction worker). It's the overall package...so yea...she's still damn beautiful in my eyes...inside and out! But I do notice when you change nail colors or designs! I think's its pretty! XD
Wet notice your "flaws" , but we either don't care about them or really like them. I love a woman's imperfections, they mean she is a woman and not some fictional being.

If it's obvious like being overweight or having a serious muffin top then yes we notice, but if it's just gaining a few pounds no we don't notice, we usually don't even care (within limits). We do notice details but what details are to us are not what details are to woman. Woman notice exact, precise things about themselves while guys only see the obvious ones.
No Hon. We all see some actuall flaws and imagine the rest, trust me when I say that us boys almost never look for such things and when we do its out of curiosity. Even if they notice, they don't mind ;)

Women can stress themselves out A LOT over these minor things. Even if we do notice these things, we don't give them a 2nd thought. :)
