Can lying only be done verbally? please give examples?

Lying is done all the time via the written word, in all kinds of publications from pamphlets to (especially) school textbooks. Omissions are not necessarily lies either. For example, let's say you ask me " Did you have a good time playing golf with your buddies today", and I say " I had a great time" and it's the truth, end of story. A week later you find out I saw my ex at the golf course and we chatted briefly, and you accuse me of lying because I didn't TELL you; I omitted that detail. Did I lie? Not in my mind, because it wasn't necessary to mention it, and I was never asked if I saw anyone else there.
Of course it can be more than verbal
You can chose to present yourself in a disingenuous way that basically makes you a liar
Maybe wear an outfit that doesn’t represent who you are without saying anything
You’re creating a false perception which is the same as lying
That being said I think we all lie all the time
The truth is too much to handle on a random Friday morning. Lies protect us

Most people will lie at some point in their lives, but the eyes or gestures will betray them.
Lying can be done in many ways -- either directly, or by omission, verbally or otherwise.
