I matched with a guy on a dating app and we chatted a LOT for a week before we were able to go out.

But active, we talked about hiking and other sporty activities we both enjoy. Then he suddenly mentions how unhealthy it is to be overweight and how him mother is very inactive and he’s worried about her health. I was confused…was he hinting at me?
So the date continues alright and when we walked back to our vehicles and chatted a bit more, he said: well I’ll have to see when we can hang out again, but I’ll stay in touch and let you know.

If he's not overweight and he stopped trying to meet up after meeting you once then I guess you have an answer. He'll keep talking to you for the same reason why women talk to men they aren't interested in... to soothe their egos with attention. Find your confidence and find a new guy to invest your time and energy into instead of a guy who strings you along.

Does he still text you the same things? Just because you say you are a bit overweight doesn't mean he was hinting at it for you. Honestly, women put themselves down more than men do. My lady is worried right now because she just had a partial hysto and she looks like she's 3 months pregnant (her words). I just tell her I love her and I don't care I just want to take care of her. I was too wordy so didn’t include everything. I was a little dismissive but he’s still texting, and I’m not sure if he’s just being polite or if he’s interested.

Before the weight comment all of our texting and conversation were great, I’ve never met a guy who asked me so many questions and actually remembered my answers from a week earlier! He seems like a great guy I just don’t know if he’s interested in me 🤷‍♀️
