Should I dump this guy?

I’ve been seeing this guy for about two months now. Things have been great, but he tells me that he has a crazy, ex that is stalking and harassing him. I start getting numerous back to back phone calls and when I look up the phone number in his phone, it’s his “crazy ex”.

I call the ex and text her asking if she could give me a call. She asks who I am. I tell her my name and she says she thinks I have the wrong number. I tell her that she’s been calling me all night.

She apologizes and tells me that for the past year and a half she’s been getting complaints from multiple women saying that she has called them when she hasn’t and believes her phone number is being spoofed. When I tell her that the guy I’m seeing says that she’s been stalking him, she tells me that she ghosted and had him blocked since February 2024 after finding out he was already involved with someone. She also says that she’s ghosted moved out of state (a state that is 1000+ miles away) back in April 2025. She additionally reveals that he will be 40 next year (he told me he was 31 and I suspected that he was lying about his age).

Should I believe her? Should I dump this guy?

We call this a smear campaign… and some people are very malicious in defaming another person. Number one as revenge… two to discredit what someone may say about them.

He probably has someone covering up for him spoofing her number OR… using AI. Dark personality’s have flying monkeys that will do this shit for them as pathetic as it sounds.

It’s definitely suspicious. Either way…. If she’s harassing him it’s illegal. If he or someone else is doing this to her. Illegal…. File a police report with everything you know.

By the way… if he gets defensive when you want to take legal action both civil and criminal… Well. That says a lot.

Most people stalked and harassed want law enforcement involved and lawsuits to make it stop. Now…. Maybe some people like the attention but even if that’s the case it isn’t healthy.

But. That will be a good test. Now someone may offer excxuss. Oh they don’t want to because the police can’t or won’t do anything. Oh I’m taking care of it…. But they aren’t. Oh I don’t like dealing with the police. Whatever.

I would believe the conclusion you come to. Ask him directly about it. Like I said. File a police report… use everything you know and what both persons have told you.
