Sounds like an argument where you both hurt each others feelings pretty bad. Often when you attack someone’s character they lunge back to protect themselves. Other than that are you accusing him of cheating at all? First few times it comes off as adorable but afterwards it becomes annoying especially if it’s untrue. Which leads to what was said prior it can cause a reaction to give up and attack back. Either way it’s not a good thing to do so as it plays on emotions that causes great amounts of trauma.
