hey everyone, my boyfriend and i have been together for 8 years. when we first got together we only knew each other for a month till he asked me to be his girlfriend. in 2017 he spoke to this girl while he was on a work trip to Texas. i only found out bc i snooped through his phone. i kept brining it up and asked him why he did it all these years. two days ago he told me she passed away and to leave her alone. it didn’t sit right with me so i got on facebook and i messaged her saying hi and if her and Jorge every had a thing to my surprise, she responded saying this is random but no. i called him and asked him how he knew she passed, he said bc a friend of theirs told him then i told him how i knew he was lying. he then told me he only said it bc i wouldn’t leave him alone about her then told me i’m bitter and i’m depressing and i should go ahead and break up with him. i agreed and we broke up. that wasn’t the end. he than texted saying he just wants to see me, i love you and then calls me twice. i ignored him.

Obviously he lied because you really gave him no option. You snooped his phone, then harassed this guy about it for how long?

I mean you snooped his phone, that should of been enough for you... you should of ended it right there. He lied because you basically already knew the the truth, but you hadn't left, so he pulled the Shaggy on you.

So how long did you keep dating him after snooping his phone? How many times after di you have sex with him? I how long did it take you to do what you should of done on the first day?

So you hit a dead end. He didn't cheat on you, but you violated his trust, harassed him to the point, I'd wager he went with the path of least resistance, and given his reaction to this, him basically flipping the table on the relationship, this isn't the first time you jumped on his back. Now I wonder, if a woman violates your trust, accuses you of things, and is argumentative, how many men will start searching for better options. Ma'am you blew up your own relationship over a lie, maybe cheating, that frankly might've been caused by you pushing him away.
