Girl told I burnt that bridge a long time ago dating?

I’m so confused first I see this girl everyday because I work with her. Anyways she asked me if I liked her or her friend ( I told her I liked her) then she asked me how many girlfriends I have. blushed when I gave her a gift, then her friend at work told her to date me and she told me I burn that bridge long ago. She wanted me to say something but what is there to say… anyways she told me that she wouldn’t go out with me to a party because she doesn’t want to hurt my feelings. What do you think should I stop talking to her or what I’m confused.
