Why would my boyfriend deleted all socials and become very affectionate to me/has been talking to me differently?

My boyfriend and I have had several problems with social media.( Onlyfans/random women he follows)

I told him I WILL leave him and I will never come back. We made up and he's been acting different. He's been more gentle, listening to me, reassuring me, telling me he loves me much more. He doesn't want to have sex atm because he says he's on restrictions. (I told him because of what he's done I'm quite upset and I really don't want to have sex)

He's being more caring then he used to.

He's told me hers so sorry for everything and that he truly doesn't deserve me or another chance.

He says he should have realized/appreciated who was Infront of him and not the people online.

He's had me meet hai family after the incident and he wants to see my family more as well.

So anyone have advice or can tell me more on what going on? I'm nervous.

You gave him an ultimatum and he finally chose to respect your wishes rather than lose you since you meant business this time. Maybe you’re feeling nervous because for one: he didn’t do this on his own accord but because you made him choose; and two: it’s been the source of several problems and it’s hard to believe he’s making a full 180.


Who knows, maybe subconsciously you know him better than that and don’t truly believe he’s making this change. Maybe you would feel better if he had just stopped doing that once you got into a relationship and it didn’t take all this to get him to stop. In any case, I think it’s better for you to just focus on moving forward rather than basically waiting for the other shoe to drop. If you’re gonna give him a chance then really lean into that rather than feeding into doubt. I’d make this the last chance for real though. You shouldn’t need to twist his arm into stopping the disrespect and you shouldn’t subject yourself to constantly looking over your shoulder because the trust has been so violated it just doesn’t exist anymore.

Maybe he is really trying to change something and show you, that he cares about you.
You will see his intentions with time but for now I personally would assume, he is really trying.

It would all go good, as long as you stick to your boundaries, you two keep talking and communicating and working on things.
