What are some good first date ideas?

I took someone to a movie that I met off a dating app and the ticket machine was acting up.

So I asked her if since she has the app and she's getting her's on it already could I send her money and add a second one.

She goes "oh I only get one free movie"

And Im like "no, the money's not the problem the ticket machine is glitching out and you're still getting yours sonif you have apple pay you can just add another"

And she's looking at me like I'm trying to get her to pay.

I was like you know what, I'm just gonna sit somewhere else I'll pass on you. 😂

It was awkward as hell too she was totally different in person than on text. Usually people are better in person in my experience.

Not a movie. That's a terrible first date idea. You're not talking and getting to find out about each other.

A barcade is the best first date idea in my opinion because you're having fun at the arcade and getting to know each other with drinks and maybe food at the bar.

A movie is a terrible idea as a first date.

Personally I prefer something low key and low effort. Like a walk, or something.
I did once meet a guy to play pool, then we sat down and talked, and we walked around before calling it a night.

Something like that.
It's about finding out whether or not you like each other, has chemistry, if there's some initial compatibility and interest.

Not a movie. I keep it cheap. Ice cream and a walk in the park. And If they don't like that then they are gold diggers and unworthy of your time.
