I don’t like pets at all. Girl I’m dating for marriage has a cat she is not willing to keep with her family?

I never grew up with pets and don’t like pets touching me, or seeing them on my bed, dinner table, etc.

she has a cat, but she’s not willing to keep her with her family. I’m now reconsidering our relationship. Am I valid to feel like this? Or should I sacrifice by trying to accept the cat?

I don't understand people and their pets. I love animals, and they love me. But there is no way in hell I'd put a pet above a human, especially not a partner.

But on the other hand, even though you may not understand it, for many people their pet is very important to them. As a potential partner, if it's important to them it should be important to you.

You need to accept that it's important to her. She also needs to accept that not having a pet around is important to you. The two of you need to accept that about each other then take it from there.
