Would you date someone who's overall a great person, but they're a bit slow?

Would you date someone who is a great person, attractive, kind, everything you could ever want in a partner, EXCEPT they're a bit slow? Meaning, they're not very intelligent, and lack a LOT of common sense.

Being slow is often great, if compensated for properly. When intellect doesn't get in the way, talents can flow. And overthinking kills talents. Similar to how rationalizing kills romance, and being love-drunk inhibits clear thinking. There are things that intellect is sometimes worth sacrificing for. ㅤ

Slow like there's a spectrum issue or slow like a dimwit? There's a big difference. A person with spectrum issues is EXTREMELY ADVANCED and intelligent and aware of things and yet might miss social cues. Meanwhile, a dimwit is someone you can't really take anywhere.

Slow as in, did poorly in school, and don't know a lot of things (what going on around the world, some basic knowledge) it's like they've lived under a rock their whole life

It depends on the situation. But I would take someone whose a good person has values over someone whose not a very good person. Sure, intelligence is attractive.

Unfortunately, people see someone with a lack of intelligence as a target. Someone that’s easy to control and manipulate.

No, being not so educated is one thing but actually being slow is an entirely different thing. For example, a woman that never attended college doesn't bother me, there are people that won't date someone that didn't go to college but if she is slow, as in a low IQ, I can't do it

No, I don't think that would work. I'd prefer someone who's a little less slow than I am.
