How far would you be willing to travel to meet someone that you met online?

Granted this would be after doing your due diligence to make sure the person you are traveling to see is really who they say they are and not some catfish.

I haven't gone to visit him yet but my online friend has stopped by to visit. He's in Kentucky and I am in Illinois. I have another online friend who lives in Californa and I'd visit her too and actually might in 2026.

I have no problem traveling to visit friends from online as long as I have known them for a while and talked to them.

That’s cool! The whole reason I am on here was because of a user that I knew from another site. I was going to visit her until I figured out she was a catfish. Thankfully I found out before I made any real travel plans

I met most of my online friends from Final Fantasy 14 lol

I did meet someone from this site in person but we lived in basically the same city. We hung out a few times but then I ended up moving.

Sorry your experience was with a catfish. Luckily you didn't have to find that out in person.
