Another thing, if it's the first time meeting, never go to his house or in a private setting. Better off on a public place with lots of people around. You never know

Never got the chance. Only managed to get a car earlier today. A lease, with only 10,000 miles a year of permitted travel.

So I'd have to get other transportation to do anything cool.

Other than maybe you, Pinay, I don't currently have anyone I've met online that's lined up as anyone I'd be that interested in meeting just yet.

So for the time being, I'm in no big hurry to take any such risk. Obviously, a few years ago, I wanted to visit Sunny. But I can't very well drive to China from anywhere I've lived, so that was never going to happen.

It's a business trip (her request), so I'm going to have a great trip either way, but she wants to meet me during the weekend I'm in town.

Did it many times when I was on lavalife before getting married. They had three sections dating, serious relationship & intimate encounters. I had a profile in each.

Think the farthest I drove was like 3 hours. It was fun, usually just chatted before agreeing to meet up. Some would say half way if it was far otherwise I’d say no worries and head over.

Usually did regular dating stuff, chips dips chains and whips. Some just wanted companionship.

After knowing I wasn’t being catfished at least, that’s for sure. People can video chat these days after all, which also shows trust and self confidence. (At least without the virtual stickers it seems lots of girls put on their faces. lol Those would be more annoying than too much makeup.)

Only if we did video calls a lot and it was obvious they were who they said they were. For example, if someone video calls me on their lunch break in their office and provide other details where when we speak it's 100% true then yes that's fine.
