Girls, What do women even want guys for?

a study said that women found 80% of men below average. That said, if women aren't attracted to men in general, and if women are making their own money, and, therefore, don't reasonably need men for their money, is there anything that men could do to get women to actually like us? If so, what? or if a guy is short or just considered unattractive in general, does that mean that he is out of luck when it comes to dating women and shouldn't even try, but would be acceptable as a respectfully platonic friend, or would they not even want such men around as friends either?

That survery was not done by the general population. If you used okcupid back when that study was done, you would be surprised it wasn't 99%.


I'm a man and I used it back when that study was done. I clicked a link on okcupid to the okcupid sub and it was an awful place. I would hate-read the subreddit. It made me stop using okcupid and it's why I don't take the results of that study seriously.


Most of it was women complaining the messages they got from men were not good enough to respond to for reasons that only existed for them. About 75% of the posts were screenshots of perfectly normal conversational openers and some kind of nonsensical critique of them which basically boils down to "I didn't immediately fall in love with them and/or they didn't put in enough effort."

Where do men like you find these bullshit studies if they even exist (which I doubt because men never post any links to them), and why do you even remotely think they are accurate?

It was an OK Cupid study, but I think that a person can look up 80% of men unattractive or whatever on Google and it might come up.

But you see the way a lot of women treat and talk about average guys anyway, so what can guys do to get women to like us?
