Piggybacking off a great question from @HawkPerception (What do men expect from women in a relationship?)... Can you please share what you guys THINK a woman wants from you?

1. What does she expect from you?

2. Do you find that you can meet those expectations?

3. Do you WANT to or would you rather be single?

What do women want? And what do men want? Everyone is different contrary to what some people may think. Do you notice when you ask multiple people a question you’ll get different answers? There is also a thing called compatibility meaning not everyone wants the same thing.

When it comes to men flaunting their money around it’s not going to attract the right kind of women. There are women wanting something more traditional who are amazing women but at the same time it attracts women who are more after the money who will leave you a miserable mess. But then some people are honest and want a superficial relationship…. So there is that.

I see men too saying oh how men want this, that, or the other and I’m just like…. None of that is what I’m looking for. It’s the same with women the truth is if people would stop trying to impress the opposite sex in general and focus on who is genuinely attracted to them as well as who they are genuinely attracted to. Not everyone is going to be into you and seeking validation again can get the wrong type of attention.

I want people to remember quality over quantity. People who have tons of people of the opposite sex/grnfrr chasing after them it can be more of a curse then a blessing. Because some people aren’t after building a genuine connection.

I think she expects me to:

Have financial stability (especially at this age) or at the very least signal that I will be financially stable in the near future.

Be a supportive partner emotionally. Listen to her when she rants, give her words of comfort when needed, encourage her in life, and actively do things that help alleviate her burdens in life.

If we both work and make income, then I think she'd expect me to help out around the house, do the man chores like taking out the garbage, doing the lawn, shoveling the driveway, fixing the plumbing of sinks, changing the car tires, building decks, fireplaces or any additions to the house, backyard, or front. And when none of those jobs/chores are available, she'd expect me to help around the house equally like doing the dishes, vacuuming/sweeping/mopping, cooking, etc.

Put effort into romantic gestures. Take her out and plan stuff occasionally, affirm her verbally, put effort into acts of services, show physical affection, get her gifts occasionally, and spend quality time with her.

A woman wants the same thing a guy wants for the most part , but she also wants her cake and wants to eat it to as well. Most women do not know what it means to be in a relationship , she thinks she does but she doesn’t , most women can’t take accountability for their own selfish actions or behaviors , she barely ever admits she is wrong , she expects her man to do for her but she doesn’t always have to do for him , and that’s where most relationships start to fail , basically her way or no way , I’m not saying men are perfect in any means , but Men tend to take commitment more seriously then most females’tend to. Most divorces are initiated by females’ as statistics show because she is more selfish , by always wanting more than what she already has in front of her , Females’ are barely ever satisfied , where men are easily satisfied , it doesn’t take us much to be happy and content , if we have a beautiful girl by our side that treats us with love and respect and makes us feel valued and wanted , and she doesn’t hesitate to please him in bed , she honestly won’t have to worry about him cheating on her or leaving her if she does those things for him , if he still cheats on a girl like that , then he is a complete Dumb ass. Females’ on the other hand have a list of things running though her head that she needs completed for her to even consider being close to her man or wanting her man , How dare he forget to take the trash out, how dare did he forget to switch the clothes in the laundry, How dare he didn’t change that light bulb that was out. Females’ brains are wired differently from guys’ brains. Most of us guys’ don’t consider those things a priority , we want to come home from work , to a smiling beautiful wife , not a grumpy miserable one that thinks she deserves to be catered to at all times

Honestly, from what my wife says, she wanted to be protected, taken care of, cuddles, loyalty.. And she wanted, and still wants me to teach her how to cook. When I first met her she could do some basic stuff, but that's it. I on the other hand, have been cooking since I was 8. When she tasted my mashed potatoes of all things she demanded I teach her lol.

There is a story with that, she has always had store bought instant mashed potatoes.. So I bought some red potatoes, and followed my recipe (potatoes, cream cheese, sour cream, butter, pepper, garlic salt (we now use duck salt, it tastes better)), I took a Dollop of it on my finger, shoved it in her mouth, and she drooled instantly down the front of her shirt. After she um got over it and swallowed she was "what the hell was that" and I was like "mashed potatoes" and she Siad "that's not possible, I could eat that every day for the rest of my life, you absolutely have to teach me" and so I started teaching her what I know.

Ability to provide
Emotional maturity
Good priorities (e. g. God first, family second, and then everything else)
Attractive (at least to her)

1. stability, having your shit together, a job, (depending how old you are) a place, loyalty, a good listener, good priorities and goals you want to accomplish, emotional maturity, supportive, and a few other things.

2. I can't provide all of this in a long-term relationship as I'm about to be going to college soon. I wouldn't be able to both be supportive of her and give her attention while working and studying if it wasn't for that aspect. than yes, I do have a place that I pay rent for along with my brother along with all the other things, but I can't giver her the amount of support I would like to during this time

3. It depends on the woman, honestly. If she is worth it, I would very much willingly do all of these things and more, especially since most of it isn't that hard

Money. Probably. I ain't saying in a gold digging way (though some for sure want that), but more in the ability to provide for a family.

It's not about even a lot of money, it's about him willing to do the work for that money to provide.

I think women want to see a ideal future with their partner and typically it involves this.

I also think this is the same for guys, they want to be able to provide for her and his family.

And this of course spoken in general, as for me I would not want that. I don't want a family, nor do I care about working lol.

Quite frankly I think most women want a fantasy world that doesn’t exist.
What they say they want and what they actually respond to are wildly different things, near as I can tell the answer to the later is entertainment - excitement, unpredictability, the guy can she can almost tame but not totally…

Whatever it is I’ve never had the patience or desire to play those games. I’m a pretty simple creature - peace, food and regular sex and I’m a happy camper. Someone to build a life with and make it just a little better, last thing I need is an added source of stress

It's really different from woman to woman which is a cliche answer I know..

1. I believe that most women expect men to provide and lead in some way.. To be her protector, the shoulder she could cry on, the one she can count on to catch her if she's falling.

2. Not exactly.. But I'm working on it.. I can meet most of them, but there's one I'm working on.

3. Nah, I'm content being single but I would rather have somebody to share my life with.. And to start a my family hopefully..

Number one can be very tricky because I think every single woman is thinking different things so who knows exactly what they want and that you talk to her and figure it out. And the last question I would say they would be nice to be married to someone who actually cares about you and you like very much

Well more than a few times I've seen women give the response. Women don't really know what they want. I think that the thought collectively is true. Individually it's a balance. Every woman is different. Trying to apply lessions learned from your last relationship in my experience universally fails. So it really about listening and deciding are you capable of being the partner she seems to want. But even then your dealing with someone who may not be honest with themselves.

I had thought that women want men with a personality. And lots of laughter. Turns out even 8 hour long conversations with nonstop laughter meant nothing to them.

So I was wrong.

At this point I’d say that it’s not that any person wants to be single. But it’s easier to be single. So people will choose what doesn’t give them constant stress and headaches when life is already stressful enough without adding more to the fire people already live through.

Normally a romance or erotic-romance book MC. Unrealistic expectations for a real guy such as automatically knowing what she wants, and a fantastical life of luxury, romance, and adventure. Rich dudes with passive incomes and wonderlust, are insanely rare, where most guys (not including the toxic, abusive, objectifying, and self-entitled) just want a woman who will give him comfort, companionship, and peace of mind.
