What type of bars are best for picking up one night stands?

Guys often bitch it's hard to pick up women these days, so let's give them a hand. What's the best type of pub to meet someone who's up for it?

The old tavern type where the wenches are wet n willing

The dive bar, where the beers cheap and the chick's are cheaper

The modern bar, for the sophisticated slapper

A hotel bar, because women on business trips all cheat

I once drank at some hotel bar during a blizzard in Omaha, it was after my ex-wife first left me. I had only been with two women my entire life and only kissed 3 total. I was early 20s. I knew this kind of thing early on I guess. It was the fanciest hotel I saw in the area. So we were drinking and I just made up some crap about why I was there (not business more like surgeries for a shrapnel injury that re-broke on a would-assassin thug’s baseball bat-with nails through it) I had a nice suit on from Men’s warehouse and fit right in other than being 10 years younger and six degrees dumber than this business woman in her early thirties.

So she wants me to come up to her room, my retarded lies behind my youthful give a shit smile is all it took. I told her I’ll have a few more drinks and be up. I remember being nervous as hell, I knocked and then booked it like a drunk white redneck version Husain bolt in business suit with one of those long black over coats. I’m such a bitch I thought to myself. Oh well, good memories. Ended up at another bar turning down more opportunities like a champ.

One night stands aren’t good… and picking whores up is easy. Especially when they’re drunk…. Actually creating a quality relationship with a quality person as a quality human yourself…. That takes work.

None of them will fix their issue. A club is obviously the better place and a guy who chooses a bar over a club when they only wanna hookup is most likely someone who doesn't feel comfortable dancing. So your main issue is self confidence and not the type of chair in your bar.

Dunno and I don't do the one night stand life, nor will I ever. It's not about feeling superior to others morally. It's about knowing what's more fulfilling to me and what kind of life I want to lead. I never understand how people can have casual sex and then just part ways with a person they were with in the most physically intimate way like they're a stranger again.

I only had two and they both came out of dance clubs. There are more obvious clues that indicate when a woman in that environment is down to get down.

None of those really fit with what I'd call a meat market. I picture a large club or wild college bar.

Not sure about college bars any more though, since they raised the drinking age to 21 and it's enforced. Most of the pick up bars near campus aren't there any more. Those were some of the best bars in the city with live music, but they are gone.

A place I used to go to wasn't even for one night stands. It was more like one hour stands. Go out to the parking lot, hop in the van or back seat of a car, fuck away, then go back inside the bar. I used to go to "drink and drown night" when they had unlimited beer for $3.50 on Sundays. It was shoulder to shoulder with hundreds of people and lots of sex going on.

I did OK at a dive bar that stayed open till 4 am. That's the key, late closing bars. That way the chicks have already cadged most of the alcohol they wanted from the other guys.

So they were much cheaper.

Also they were more willing to leave the bar in the wee hours. I strategically would strategically go between 1-2 am. It was also much easier to tell if the girls were single.

You don't get the pick of the litter of course because the good ones have already been picked up but it is more reliable.

Unfortunately this bar has been knocked for an apartment complex. Shame

The Marriott, near where I grew up, was known as the local meat market for older woman, they had really nice bar and always had a DJ on the weekends, open until about 2am.
