Does my boyfriend not trust me anymore around his friends?

I met my boyfriends friends a few months ago after them insisting on meeting me and they basically only spoke to him when he introduced me to them, barely said a few words to me. They are all also roommates and after being disappointed in how the first meeting went I told my boyfriend I do not wanna have to go through that again, even though they keep asking him when I am coming around again according to him.

He kept insisting that the one couple said they'd wanna come over to my place and have somewhat a double date, and they can't wait for me to come over again. He then said if I wanted to give it another try I should just let him know and I completely felt bad for not giving his people another try when he has been nothing but good to mine and the only people of his that I get along with is some of his family and none of his friends unfortunately.

I then told him if he wanted to invite his couple friends over that I would be more than willing to try again and he said that he rather not do that and risk it, and he rather not disappoint me again with his friends because it could go good or bad, does it mean he knows that they really do not like me or that he does not want me around them because he feels I was the problem?

It sounds like his friends are up to no good. They shouldn't keep asking about you and wanting you to be around them. They likely would try to hook up with you if your boyfriend wasn't around. They are likely not good friends.

Because then you said he could invite a couple of his friends over , so does that mean that all the roommates aren't coming or not invited

MayBe, he doesn't want to have Say, okay, only you 2 can come, but everybody else You're not invited. And so I would understand that one said , i'm not sure how many are the whole situation , but I can see that's where or what would make him say , no , let's just forget

It sounds like he doesn’t have good friends, and unfortunately his so called friends’ could try hitting on you behind his back , considering they keep asking for You to come over Your boyfriend probably doesn’t want you around them for that reason
