Do you need to have a valentine every year?

A friend was complaining that she doesn't have a valentine this year and asked me if I had one. I laughed bc it seemed like a silly question AND I've been volunteering at church every valentines day weekend since my divorce, so it wouldn't matter anyway unless i found someone who would be willing to volunteer at the church along with me. She looked at me like I was nuts. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Do you really need "A Valentine" every year?
