In the meantime you might have had several relationships, but you are currently single as well. You don't know anything about that girl's love life, if she couldn't find a man or if she just broke up. All you know is that you liked her very much in high school, but she rejected you whenever you tried to ask her out. Would you even consider asking her out again now, 10 years later, to see if a connection sparks? Or would you just assume that there must be a reason why she is still single at 25+ and avoid her at all costs?

Your crush seemed to be a one-way road and obviously not reciprocated. 10 years is a long time and you basically don't know anything about her. What makes you think that she would have changed her mind about dating you. There may have been other factors than just your looks.

Let the past rest where it is. I am aware this case, most likely your testosterone is dictating your behavior and hope that this time you can actually achieve what you could not 10 years back.

This happened to me. I asked out my crush and got rejected. After highschool when I lost all my baby fat and got to working out... did my hair and nails every single guy from highschool came my way.. even my crush. Guess what I did. Block... delete. he got fat and wasn't sexy anymore 🤭
