I have this friend of mine who I met on gag we have been friends up 2017 til 2023. This guy is like a dream. White man, athletic body, handsome, educated and smart. We used to talk everyday and always does my request. He treated me as more than friends and I'm the same to him. My friends told me Im so lucky to have him because he is such a catch but sadly we never met because he's always busy until he stopped texting in 2023. He left gag completely. I thought Id get over him but I cannot get him out of my head I think of him from time to time even compares some guys to him. I fell inlove with other guys too after him but this guy is truly the guy I consider the one that got away. I cannot forget him no matter what I do. But I imagined he might found someone else now that is why he ghosted.

Feelings. Feelings are not logical. I still think about a woman from 30 years ago. I had a good rapport with her. Was she the one that got away? Maybe. But maybe I woulda married her and then we would have divorced a couple years. later. It doesn't matter. I didn't and she married a guy who did. You're always going to have paths not taken in life and say to yourself, "what if". a lot of things will just be pleasant memories, and a lot of them should probably stay that way.

I don't need a name and a face to have a good conversation. Anonymous is just safer.

Like i said, there's nothing wrong with reminiscing the woulda, could, shoulda. Just so long as you remain grounded in what is right in front of you. I'm still friends with the woman I speak of. We still have a good rapport. But I keep my distance because I care about her and I'm not going to throw a monkey wrench into her life. I had my shot, I didn't take it.
