How about you found the right person but he doesn't want to get married yet? he still young and wants to play the field?

The "right person" isn't the only qualification that matters. You also need to find someone that is willing to go through hard times with you, trust them that they will never leave you during these hard times. Someone who is willing to settle down with you at your current stage rather than someone who still wants to play the field for another 7 years.

You're wise. I can't see your age Anon, but you have some wisdom I wish more people would spread instead of just spreading their legs.

These chicks that have specific checklists and an actual dollar price on their pussy are going to learn the hard way though. They basically have a hooker's mentality of romance, but want it to be long term and fantastical like some Disney/Romance movie.

It's just sad... they want to get blown out and have fun with many guys, and then around age 40, they want the one, and now they're serious, because her 3 kids all by different Dad's comes first... these chicks really think a guy that is 'Mr. Perfect' that's worked hard enough to actually meet that laundry list of requirements wants her serious ass that is no longer willing to just have fun? She belongs to the streets!!! I'm probably off topic now so I'm just going to send this and shut up.

When I was younger I focused on this a lot. As I’ve gotten older and actually got married, it’s not as important. You need to find someone who will respect you at the end of the day. My wife is so much different than I am when it comes to hobbies, personality, and drive. We have a healthy marriage though. You realize that it will take a lot of effort to be with anybody, so you just enjoy the ride as the two of you adapt and learn how to live with each other. For women, I always say look for a man you’d go to war with. There’s a lot to take away from that statement. You obviously don’t want anybody who’s toxic or abusive though. You see those red flags, run quickly.

I halfway agree with you. Your second paragraph is absolutely right. But in the first, the right person would want to settle down and marry you. So technically, he would not be the right person for you, no matter what you think of him.

Exactly right. There's no reason in the world that a guy and a girl are together, and he says no I need play more and for the girl to wait for him, that's not ever going to work. And if a girl does that, she needs to wake up and he's not the right guy anyway, because

Finding the right person matters, but so does becoming the right person yourself.

A healthy, lasting relationship requires self awareness, growth, and shared values, it’s about both people showing up fully, not just finding someone “perfect.”

compatibility and timing are just as critical If someone wants to play the field while you are ready to settle down, they are effectively the wrong person for right now.

Waiting years for someone to grow up or finish playing is a high-risk gamble that often leads to resentment rather than a happy ending.
