I only realized the huge AMWF and WMAF discussions on the Internet. Reddit, X, Facebook, etc.
Had been four AMWF relationships in the past, two in US, one French and one German, both naturalized dual citizens, and two in AU, one German-Dutch and one Danish-Swedish, both international students.
Never posted any AMWF or "[my nationality]-[her nationality] couple" kind of contents or hashtags. Not even willing to let my direct relatives (meaning, parents and grandparents) talk to extended relatives about it, let alone share our photos.
Never dated a Western female who is into watching anime or K-dramas or listening to K-pops or leaning Chinese. Not deliberately avoiding them, just feeling not attracted to them, at all.
Have no issues with Asian females or WMAF couples. Just not attracted. Never want to compare or compete with White men who get Asian women. If they do not bother me, I have no problem with them.
My four White girlfriends all belong to the kind of White women who are neither attracted to nor biased against Asian men, but neutral, thinking Asian men are polite, clean, reliable, etc, but nothing particular. Feel good for me, but is a very delicate and niche subset of White women I like. The 1488 type will never look at me anyway, no matter how good-looking and confident I am, and the weebs do not attract me, on the other hand, so only a relatively small subset suit me well. Quite hard and delicate, I have to admit.
Had a few Russian and Ukrainian women pushed to me by friends but never got interested. Always felt no interest there. Seen many Asian men saying both look-wise and personality-wise, they are the easiest to be compatible, but I feel neither.
Curious how it is like because I only stumbled on this AMWF (and WMAF) thing very recently.
