What are your opinions on coffee dates as a first date?

I'm still waiting for the rest of the world to stop calling it a 'date' and refer to it as a meet'n'greet. Dates are really old school and I think most people views that as gold digger bitch and simp pay pig terittory. "Dates" are just for them now.

Those of us trying to just meet people and get to know people don't want to dress up, don't want to spend a bunch of money on it, and don't want to spend a bunch of precious time on doing it.

I just want to meet, talk to you... make sure you're not a tranny with fake pictures or absolutly fucking crazy. I also want to give you a way to just reject me outright... I'm not trying to force or convince you to want to fuck me.

I just realized I'm talking to you like you're a chick... sorry about that, but you get what I'm trying to say here right? ... I'm not playing games, just doing basic shit for safety reasons, and getting to the point. "Dates" are things filled with plans and activities and I'm not trying to do that with just everyone. I would've been on a lot of dates with tranny dudes that use fake pictures if I did that.

I suppose they are better than nothing, but I personally am not a big fan of them. If somebody wants to spend time with me, then I think it should be meaningful time and not something knocked out quickly in some coffee place or other dump like that. The implication, often unspoken, is that, well, what the hell? If you don't like it, you can just get up and leave, and people actually do do that, so I don't really want to be a party to that sort of thing.
