I have never known anybody's credit score besides that of my husband, and only then after marrying him. So credit score itself is not important at all. However it would be pretty important if it was someone who seemed like they had much debt.

Credit score isn't really that important in NZ. You're not encouraged to have debt, infact banks love you if like myself and my partner you've never had a credit card
