Oh , he sounds so sweet 😭 honestly, based on what you said he probably likes you. That sucks for both of you since you don't feel the same. As a girl who has a lot of guy friends, whenever I see myself in a situation like this I try to give little hints that I only like them as a friend and usually that helps. They eventually notice there's no chance we'll ever be together romantically and they just move on.
