My TA asked me out for a coffee. Does he like me?

I used to have conversations with one of my TAs last semester from time to time. He emailed me the other day asking if I still have his notes and if I started reading the book he gave me. I mentioned in my reply I enjoyed conversation with his last semester and hope to continue at some point, and he said we could go for coffee sometime and continue our discussion on physics, and we emailed back and forth for a bit, and he asked me to go for a coffee this weekend. Do you think he likes me? or am I over analyzing because he really just like to talk about physics.

you know he could be in the same boat as you. he obviously missing your conversation, maybe he wants to start casually seeing you again. you never know what may happen. take it day by day, try not to over think if he likes you or not. he asked for coffee, there's some intrest there otherwise he wouldn't of asked. keep us upated though!

Trust me, my TA asked me out too on the pretext of talking about the class. The class wasn't even mentioned

But did you show interest in him before he asked you out though? I just don't want him to think I was all being forward because I miss talking to him

I didn't show interest in him, he was my TA. He showed interest in me all throughout the semester. It was a conference style classroom, so he would always sit next to me, scribble notes in my text, etc. So I knew he was interested and it was only a matter of time before he asked me out
