Have you ever rejected someone you actually liked and then regretted it?

So there is a tennis academy next to my workplace and I already dated one tennis coach from there, very hot one haha. We are neighbors

Then, couple of months ago another of his coworker met me and asked my number , but I told him I was a friend of that first guy so he backed off…

Today, a very handsome and charismatic guy on a motorbike stopped next to me and introduced himself and he also is a coach from that academy… So, even though I liked him kind off, I measured ups and downs, and figured I don’t want me to be thought to be dating all the tennis coaches in the district…

He asked my number and if he could see me again. I told him “It’e really nice meeting you but I am kind of seeing someone” and didn’t give him my number. Then regretted immediately because first he was smooth, charismatic, handsome, not as handsome as that first coach, but more masculine…

And at least I could get to learn tennis… Because my ex date and I agreed he will teach me, but with all the sexual chemistry between us, things will be awkward. So better not.

Not really, no. But there was one time when I was on holiday in the Caribbean, this girl on the beach would not stop oggling me and even took a picture of me. She was already checking me out in the water, but I didn't approach her because I didn't have my glasses and thought it was some older Chinese lady.

Then on shore, it was already too late. I wanted to approach her, but I literally could not think of anything to say that wasn't awkward, so we literally just oggled each other back and forth, until I had to leave.

I was kicking myself afterwards and even went back the next day, hoping she'd still be there.

It literally wasn't until YEARS later, that I thought of an excuse I could've used to approach her. I STILL kick myself over it to this day, because this stuff usually never happens to me.

But also, like I said I was only on vacation and she was too and we probably lived far from each other, so even if we had hooked up and gotten together, what then? But I guess I'll never know because my dumb ass didn't know how to approach her.

Yes and no.

I did reject a girl I liked in high school. She was an awesome girl, but the crown she chose to hang around were not the types of people I wanted to have any relations with. I did regret it initially, but then I wised up and realized her good nature was slowly being overruled by the environment she chose to put herself in.

Eventually one of her "friends" killed someone in front of her. She had to testify in court. That incident changed her. She ended up on drugs and eventually overdosed. I tried many times to warn her to change who she hung out with.

I have done so in the past. But I didn't regret it because I know it wouldn't have worked out for a shitload of a reasons.

Yes a handful of times , basically the timing was bad , I was either already dating someone else , or I wasn’t ready for a relationship, or to date anyone. So yes I definitely kicked myself regretted saying No to some of them
