Have you ever felt intimidated by someone who in your mind was better looking than you?

This doesn't happen to me anymore but long ago i can admit i used to be a bit intimidated by dudes who were taller and more confident than me and seemed to get women falling for them easily lol..

now its just 'ehhhh' though...

but have you ever felt this way? women were you ever intimidated by other women you thought were more attractive? again attraction is subjective so im asking through your eyes.

It was interesting for me. My friend, let's call her Sahara. She had this male bsf and they went along really well (until he became weirdly homophobic and slapped a guy for no reason, but that happened way later). Whenever I saw them both hang out, I had this weird feeling of I don't know, intimidation, insecurity, as if someone is taking away something mine.

I thought I had crush on that guy and was intimidated by Sahara because she had this sweet America accent as she grew up in NY and the guy grew up in London and had British accent. I thought they related more with each other cuz they both didn't grow up in India. Also Sahara is extremely smart, she plays exceptional violin and chess and is crazy good in maths and she has really pretty curly hair and looks cute too.

I noticed after some time that I wasn't intimidated by Sahara, I was SIMPING on her. And that's how I realised I'm bi.

Well in my cases i was definitely not attracted but i always wondered how to 'get' what those guys 'got' you know.

nowadays im just me. and idgaf if someone thinks someone else is more attractive than me :P

A bit, but the thing/crux/key is that we all have different strengths, etc. etc., and the exterior package is just one.

It initially creates some 'feelings,' but there are other ways to feel good about yourself; especially as you age.

I met Val Kilmer, in a professional setting, and I remember him looking at me with a sort of 'are you going to react to me?' kind of look. Not saying that he was vain or arrogant. I don't know either way. But I did not react either way. It was memorable. Perhaps just because he has an expressive face, easily amused temperament, and yes, he had presence.
I chose not to bother him with recognition. But I always wondered if he felt that odd.

Yes, many times. For instance, when I was 19, I used to hang out with a girl I met in college.

She was much taller than me, skinny and mixed race. If she had her hair straightened she could easily say that she was white. I used to feel not only intimidated by her but also inferior to her.

She worked as a model and she often had people complimenting her over her looks. I felt jealous when my then crush was talking to her. It was so sad.

So I'm definitely familiar with this feeling...

I was 21 and beautiful, but I had major issues fitting in and with my self worth and I adored her, but I had no luck with guys and I hated hearing about that damned boyfriend of hers at the time.
