Trending & News It depends on what you mean by good job. I don't care much if they have a high paying job or not but I do care about what kind of job they have. Mostly if it's legal. But there are a few legal jobs I do not want to date. Military and funeral directors.
Employment has never been a consideration for me for dating a partner.
I've only had two relationships, my first partner was attractive, and had a very nice personality, I don't think we mentioned our jobs when we first met.
My second relationship she was very attractive, very fit, younger than my first partner, and again jobs didn't come into the equation.
But they were both secretaries, so perhaps I seem to choose secretaries unconsciously for some reason unknown to me.
I think a secretary is a good job, but perhaps not well paid, though we never discussed money.
So perhaps the person I date needs to have a good job, but how I determine that is a mystery lol.
I don’t think any job is good per se if it’s immoral, unethical, or illegal. But if you’re making money morally and ethically it’s whatever. Look…. I’ve not closed off my options to dating based on what someone does for work. I care more about compatibility.
So that’s women from waitresses and retail workers to nurses and investment bankers and cops and nurses. And everything in between. I think it’s good to have ambition. But what matters most is the heart.
"Good" job is totally subjective. I more just care that they have one or are going to school or something and aren't perenially jobless. No one wants to deal with those people.

I'm less concerned in the money she makes than her attitude towards money, how she spends it. I make enough to take care of myself and most likely her to if she's like me. But that's the point of it. I'm a thrifty person, I always have been. I project I'll officially be a millionaire in about 4 more years (at current rate of return). But I'll always be this way. It's just who i am. She doesn't have to be just like me. But she'd have to have similar views toward money for it to work between us.
I would rather working or having a job, is not any sort of problem for them
If it’s a girlfriend that would be living with me eventually she’s gotta work. Not just lay around the house all day and do nothing I’m not the sugar, daddy
I would care about what qualities the girl has not her paycheck.
Well everyone needs money to exist. But yes, I would like someone I date to either have a job, be looking for a job or be in school.
No. What entails a good job anyway? Rate of pay, perks, passion for said field of work?
Nope. I couldn't care less.
any job will do
