Having an attraction to older men?

Hi, do you think attraction to older men is a feeling stemming from love, or is it just a silly expectation? I'd like to hear your thoughts.

Feeling for love , Most older guys’ like younger women for a lot of reasons, as to why younger women like older men for a lot of reasons as well . Most younger women like how an older guy is wise and mature for the most part , and how put together he is , I can’t speak for every guy or girl , but from my experiences with younger girls’ they liked that I listened to her and liked that I made her feel like a human being , and not just some convenience , they liked how I was respectful and kind to her. So when a girl feels like she is listened to and that her emotions and feelings matter , she doesn’t hesitate to do the same. Why I am seeking a younger girl to be in a relationship with

Contrary to their delusional beliefs, very few young women are attracted to older men. A few are attracted to the money older men have, but young women are not sexually attracted to older men because, other than money or position, older men offer nothing of value to young women.

Since men of all ages are attracted to young women, if young women were attracted to older men, the average age difference of first marriage would be greater than two years.

I have to assume you mean older as in 10 years older, since it isn't specified. It has to be expectation, in the sense that you anticipate finding certain traits, that you didn't talk about, traits that you attribute to people 36yo and beyond. In reality, these traits may be found within your age range.

Now, I don't think attraction stems from reason, I think it stems from feelings we don't really understand. And it doesn't have to be a problem. It only becomes questionable to me if attraction aims at something harmful.

However I don't get how you connected love to attraction, that escapes me but it's probably not important.

How much older? There are advantages and disadvantages to having an older partner. Only you can decide if the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. I have known a couple of successful marriages with an age difference of 20 years or more.

I think it stems from factors you might not even be aware of. It SELDOM works out though. I'm not saying it can't. But anytime you form a relationship with someone with a age gap any larger than 10 years. the odds for longterm success go way down.

I think an attraction to older men (the right older men) is perfectly normal for some women. There are a lot of things that older men provide. Stability, better emotional regulation, experience.

if you're going to be honest about it. i've seen 4 year old girls hit on me at 26. at 21 60 year old women would catcall and make their interest known. the rules are a social construct. we are attracted to people outside of the social law. morality is also made up. What's universally agreed upon is taking away the person's choice at any age. making it a consent issue and not an age issue.
