In my university there is a guy who is so attracted to me and he is a good guy as well as he texts me every day but I’m attracted to my professor who is used to give a lot attention and he is attracted to me but starts ignoring me suddenly I think he knows that I have feelings for him because I can’t hide them in addition he’s afraid of losing his career

Based on your replies, I do say that why not meet that professor for his wiseness, sympathy and successfulness. nobody is there to stop you from having relationship with him, so go ahead and meet him. you can talk to him thinking that is your father.

I am a teacher. I've seen the results. It just doesn't end well. College is more forgiving than HS obviously but to pursue this may destroy his life and I don't want you to feel responsible for that. I get that older men can be VERY attractive from a student POV but it's lust / infatuation, not a sustainable relationship. Go for single older but not the forbidden fruit.

Typically it's daddy issues. Maybe you don't have a dad or lost a dad. And it's your psychological way of replacing him. Women get mad when they're told this but there is NOTHING weird about it. Because a father is typically a woman's first role model for what a man should be. This is also why women without strong male role models in thier life typically have a hard time finding quality partners. Because she has no template to draw off of what a man should be.
