When I was 14 years old I created an account on a site similar to this one and lied about my age.


There I met a woman who was married and very disenchanted with her life.
We began a highly inappropriate relationship over the phone.

Nowadays you can be fully anonymous on an app on your phone and do all these things without ever facing consequences.
Suddenly the marital vows start to mean less and less.


It’s sad. But it’s reality.
And it’s the reason why choosing the right partner is more important today than ever before.
No one can save you in time from a bad marriage.
And there are almost always warning signs you ignored

Is this way of thinking not generalized in 2026? Is it not something that is the norm rather than the exception? I am aware, from reading posts here on GaG, that a lot of people consider this to be the norm in the 21st. century and that it is nothing out of the ordinary anymore.

Since people place so much importance on fornication rather than on a healthy relationship with a single person, it has become something of an obligation to have a backup plan for that kind of activity.

Mind you, this is the exact reason why I would never be intimate with anyone because you can never know what is going in the mind of a person. People are dishonest by nature and in general not trustworthy.
