3.2K opinions shared on Dating topic. I left my house when I was 16 and a half I moved in with two of my friends because their mother went to San Diego to open up a business and she said that they could stay and finish school
I had just started dating someone and I realized the very first night that I didn't know a lot of things and the first thing was I didn't know about love so I had to start teaching myself to try to understand it and be the best at it as I possibly could so I never really had to sneak
But I can tell you this every girl that I introduced to my mom she did not like LOL so I guess it really didn't matter if I had the snake or not I would have just done it because she wouldn't have liked anybody anyway
One day she called me and asked me to come pick her up my sister was watching her taking care of her because she had Alzheimer's dementia and she said she wanted to move because she wasn't getting along with my sister I couldn't allow her to do that because of the Alzheimer dementia so I had her move in with me and a girl that I know came over to my house and I introduced my mom to her she's just a friend nothing more and after my friend left my mom said I have always liked her I remember the first time that we talked I have always really liked her what is her name again LOL but that was the only time that my mom ever liked anybody and I didn't like the girl in that way so but I thought it was kind of funny
The thing about sneaking in today's world is you have to let somebody know where you are where you're going just in case something was to happen you need somebody to build back your play the world's getting crazier and it's just going to keep getting crazier so if you do sneak just be careful and always tell a friend where you're going that you can trust00 Reply

1 moMy parents said I couldn't date until I was 16 and the guy would need to ask my dad's permission. I got my first boyfriend at 12. I'd sneak out my window to meet with him or he'd come in through my window. His house was a lot less strict. He wasn't allowed to date either, but I could just sneak in through the sliding glass door in the kitchen lol. He was listed as a girl on my phone. I once had an internet friend call over the phone to dodge suspicion. lol all the antics we pulled
Ofcourse now that I have a daughter, I'm having some mixed feelings 😅

1 moMu mum said I could date from 14 years old, with strict conditions that I set for myself.
As it turned out, apart from a couple of short-lived crushes, I didn't date until I met my guy when in my very early 20's

1 moNever lol my mom was really strict.
20 Reply I was raised by a single parent and my mom didn't care. She had enough issues to deal with without having to add my dating life into the mix. There wasn't really anything I wasn't allowed to do growing up outside of direct disrespect.
My first serious relationship was when I was 14 and lasted 3 years.
My girlfriends parents on the other hand were the complete opposite. Her family was the religious sort and they didn't particularly like me... well, they actually didn't mind me... right up until they found our I was dating their daughter.
I used to tie a rope from a tree and she would tie the other end to her bedpost. I'd tightrope walk across maybe 20ft to get in through her second story bedroom window. I fell and broke my arm one winter when her older brother knocked on the door and I had to make a hasty escape. lol
Good times.
10 Reply2.2K opinions shared on Dating topic. Tbh I never knew parents stopped their kids from dating cause that was never put on me once so I didn't know this was culturally a thing until I watched shows.
From what I experience parents were not getting bothered and mixed into their kids social lives they wouldn't be able to tell you who half their kid's friends are maybe 1 or 2.
So yeah I had much different experience, and pretty sure this is quite common ya know with how many kids just do what they want until caught. Parents don't even know their kids are in gangs until something goes down.00 ReplyI wasn’t allowed to date at all underage but started sneaking around at 15. kept it very hush. If I was sleeping out my mom would ask me to send her a photo to prove I was where I said I was going (friends place). I started taking random pics of my friends rooms and off guard photos of them when we were together so I’d have something to send to her when that’s not actually where I was going 😹

1 moI had a boyfriend when I was 14, not really because they let me but just because I was going to do it anyway as difficult as it was to do at that age without being able to drive yet or see him hardly ever
40 Reply2.6K opinions shared on Dating topic. I liked girls all my life and always had a crush on one girl or another. My parents thought it was cute.
I first started actual dating when I had a car and got together with my first girlfriend at age 16. From then on, I could bring her and subsequent girlfriends to the house and even to family gatherings. My family treated them like welcome guests.00 Reply326 opinions shared on Dating topic. I was dating by age 12 and did things I would not tell my parents. However, dating was limited to meeting at my house or in the neighborhood because the boys were not old enough to drive.

1 moMy mother never stopped me. I think she was just glad I wasn't gay. And my dad would just go "sex isn't all it's cracked up to be son... It's overrated"
Like what the fuck do you mean by that 😂

1 moMy mother bounced the second my little sister was off the tit. Dad was working to much to really give a damn. 3 boys and one little girl. Who cares about boys and the girl had three mean brothers. She didn't date until after she was married. I was also molested by my female 1st grade teacher so I have another reason to hate women. I didn't date until I was 15.
