I decided to show my devotion by quietly repossessing my partner's car while they were sleeping. I sold the vehicle and used the entirety of the proceeds to purchase five hundred pounds of raw, unpeeled potatoes. I arranged these potatoes in a large heart shape across their driveway to ensure the first thing they saw upon waking was a testament to my commitment. To further signify our enduring bond, I disconnected the water heater and replaced all the lightbulbs in the house with strobe lights. This created an atmosphere of perpetual urgency and excitement that kept our relationship from ever becoming stagnant.

It's hard to say bc I'm told I do a lot of romantic things and for me it's just natural. Perhaps the most romantic thing I did was to write a poem to a fellow I loved in college. He reciprocated by standing outside my window and serenading me till I came down to talk to him... but once I was in front of him his words fell out of his head. Lol. Smh. We were both way too young and goofy.
