Do guys hesitate to ask out girls who come from a more conservative culture?

So I am wondering about this.

I can think of like two guys recently both of whom I suspected there may be some interest. Neither really tried to ask me out.

It made me wonder do guys sometimes hesitate around minorities (even if they're a minority themselves), if they are not too sure if that person would be receptive to going on a date with them?

I'm assuming maybe that's the reason.

It depends on what "conservative culture" and what minority. If it's Jesus Freaks or Mohammed Maniacs I want nothing to do with people who live their life in a pointless religious cage obsessed with pleasing some magic invisible sky fairy that doesn't exist. I'm just not going to put up with your "beliefs" to be polite. You're free to do whatever you want. So am I.

On the other hand, if it's just an ethnic or national minority, I couldn't care less where your ancestors came from as long as you're fun to be around.

Common sense hun. Closed mouths don't get fed. Why do you think sluts get so much attention. Did you think it's because they were sluts? Ok, well that probably helps😆. But no, it's because sluts also strike mens egos. They make them feel special. Even if she's just gaming him the whole time. These women do not draw lines like "conservative women" do. And that is why they get a lot more male attention. Sorry, this is just human nature. Like it or not, women do this to. They flock to the men who tell them what she wants to hear. I'm not really experienced with conservative culture at all... There aren't any representative around me, I don't even remember the last time I talked to a girl who could qualify for conservative culture.

I wouldn't say conservative culture is, in essence, engaging though, or I'm just biased. I don't know...

It seems like a plausible explanation. At the end of the day, men are going to approach on an assessment of costs vs benefits. One cost is risk. If they don't feel they understand what you want, if there is less synchronicity of display of interest, etc. then perceived risk of approaching seems like it would be higher.

There's also plain racism. That's probably more powerful.
