If this is just a general preference that you hold, then no that’s not disrespectful. However it would be if you were very vocal about it, like if a heavier set woman takes interest and you shame or degrade her for her weight, that’s just mean and unnecessary rudeness.

@shrimpenjoyer it’s funny you say that because from my experience, short men can be pretty angry and mean towards women. I am 5’7, and since I don’t discriminate, I have tried dating two men shorter than me. Both were very irritable, both short fused and I felt like I had to walk on egg shells not to piss either off. Overly emotional, easily triggered, constantly the victim, this unfortunately rings true with a lot of short men far too often. Obviously not each and every single one, but often enough for them to have that reputation.

Sure, they can be angry with their experiences dealing with other women, but why does someone totally new have to pay for that? Why would I warrant mistreatment in any form for what some other woman or person in general has said or done? Do you make everyone pay for your hurt feelings when it occurs? Hopefully not.

Also, I’m not sure where you got that I specifically chose to date two negative men, that is just what their personalities turned out to be. Is that representative of every short man? Absolutely not, and I said verbatim “obviously not each and every one”, so I’m not I am not generalizing every short man. You’re entitled to your experience of every short man being nice, while I’m entitled to mine.
