I was thinking of giving it to California so they could finally solve their homeless problem, but then, realizing it's California, that money would do little for the homeless, instead filling the pockets of corrupt officials and contractors.
So, I would invest 10 million for myself to live a normal life off of, including retirement.
Of the rest, I would give 50% to my favorite charity, St Jude's Children's Research Hospital, and the other 50% to a similar organization, Shriner's Hospitals for Children.,
I don't need that. Excessive money just doesn't do it for me and for me it is not power, even though for this society's standards it is. I would only keep what I need/what is necessary to me.
I'd probably earmark half of it to charity, cover my expenses for a couple of years in bulk do I don't have to think about them. Travel a little and put the rest into lucrative savings for the future.

The good things part is throwing me off, because many places have spent well more than a billion dollars and money doesn't seem to solve the problems a lot of the times.
I guess I could go find a place that has hardcore infrastructure issues, and use the billion on fixing up small towns, maybe abandoned towns, try to rise something out of the ash. All the other major problems, people have put well more than a billion in and haven't had success.
If USD was real these days I'd burn it to deflate. But it's not even printed anymore. If you get paid in USD you literally work for nothing they don't print it. The banks don't have your money. Just ask for it back and they will tell you.
I'd buy the government and make them implement my crazy left wing ideas.

Tax free?
I'd buy a new house, a new car, take 100 million and create a foundation to help others and invest the bulk of it. I'd give money to my family, but they don't like money.😂

Oh I didn't read the update lol
It applies even with the update though. So yeah my answer remains the same. I am not going to get into the technicalities though.
Thanks for your opinion

Build a big house out in the sticks and retire to a life of having barbecues and feasts with my friends
Next to a river so I can go fishing whenever I want
I would keep one tenth for myself and I would still feel very greedy about it but that money would do everything I need for the rest of my life.
The rest would go to causes related to improving medical care and medical science research.
Buy a house, give some to my parents and brother and invest the rest until I need it.
Buy more guitars, keyboards, effects, and, most important of all, a bigger house.
Give most of it away. I'd never even come close to spending 10% of it.
How about a house?
I’m single. No need for a house right now.
Ok..
Give 10 million to each of my kids, keep 20 million for myself. Give the rest to charity.
Invest it and live on the growth... maybe start a bew bussiness.
I'd buy the government and make them implement my crazy left wing ideas.

@harrison102 invest and get off the financial institutions
The first thing I would do is buy a small plot of land and build a small detached bungalow far away from any neighbors.
I'll keep donating to more charities
Your mom.
