Why do women become more picky with age?

Question

They're less attractive, fatter, lower sex drive, more attitude but want more out of a man. Why do they think they can compete with young women?

It's like trying to sell pre-owned car from 2016 and asking for more than the price of a brand new 2026 version of that car with 0 miles on it.

I know Soooooo many women sadly just as you describe , one I've known for 22 years , I was fooking her at 28 , and ( then ) she was good , but not incredibly outstanding or anything , reasonable in bed but not great , I liked her for other reasons..

Now , with a bit of Botox she thinks she looks younger than she does , she needs implants , nowhere near fit.

But at some point she as a cougar snagged some idiot looking for a free shag , he is not coming back..

She just refuses to see what a fool she is making of herself , there are other issues too , it's completely pathetic , really has fcked her life.

Because she is human and everyone is picky, she just becomes wiser about who she will be with and not be with she knows what she will tolerate and not tolerate in a relationship, the same way men do when they get older that experienced the girls’ that were in their life that ended up breaking their heart , Now that I am older and had my fair share of experiences with girls’ that were a part of my life , I consider myself wiser about who I will accept and not accept into my life So yes we are all picky one way or another because we all have our own preferences about who and what we are attracted to and who we will pursue to be in a relationship with. I don’t judge people by their age whatsoever age is just a number to me to a certain extent , all that matters is the chemistry and connection and attraction we both feel for each other. Now that I was married for 20 some years to a girl that turned out to be selfish and toxic person that became my ex. , I became wiser about who I will accept and not accept into my life. I make sure I check her medicine cabinet first 😂 Even though I am now leaning to finding a younger girl , it doesn’t mean I wouldn’t accept a girl my age or older , I just experienced better things with younger girls so far now that I am single again , but if I meet a girl my age or older that I have great chemistry and connection with and attracted to , I am not going to stop pursuing her just because she isn’t younger than me. Just like I am not going to stop pursuing a younger girl just because we have an age gap , to me that is silly and stupid to do. Attraction is a powerful thing and once you are totally attracted not someone , their age is the last thing that is on your mind , unless you are attracted to to someone that is under legal age of consent , then you got problems lol

Lower metabolism or drive comes from other issues not related specifically to age. And let’s not pretend that dad bod is particularly attractive either. (Smh.)

I neither believe that’s true or fair to attempt to paint all women as the same. It’s more telling of the person you are if you truly believe that.

If anything , some women ( and men ) may become “more selective” thats more accurate than “more picky.”

As women get older, they often have a better understanding of what they want, stronger boundaries, and less interest in wasting time on incompatible relationships. That doesn’t necessarily mean their standards become unrealistic—just that they’re clearer about what matters to them.

The same is true for many men as they age.

As we grow older, older also means more experienced. We just see the bullshit a mile away. With one sentence, or just your simple behavior, we can project your shenanigans before you even start.
The older we get, the less time we have for nonsense.
I know someone who is in his late 20s and dates only older women, as in their 30’s or 40‘s. That’s not old to me. Well! He is the one complaining of how much he is being fuck, though! he thought he was up his game.
