It is not a fetish. Males from 8 to 80 prefer 18 yo females. This is set in stone by evolution.

About 10% of marriages have a ten year age gap and presumably bot parties were happy with that.

It is up to them and nobody else should leave them to it.

That is true but 5 year age gaps are very common. just as both guys and girls like the guy to be taller, both guys and girls like the guy to be older if there is an age gap.

Some girls do like the guy to be older by quite a bit. In Cleopatra's day girls were married after the first menses but men had to wait till they could support a family at maybe 20. Most men were dead by 30.

For a large part of our history there have significant age gaps. A community that is not good at breeding will go extinct of course.

I am more interested in what you think are reasonable age gaps because it seems more than your personal preference.

There is nothing to admit because the stats are there for anyone to see that most marriages are aligned to very little age difference but where there is an age difference it is with the husband being senior.

It is just as obvious that men prefer 18 yo women because evolution favored the men who preferred 18 yo due to their higher fertility. This is not a fetish but hard wiring.

About 25% of marriages are where the man is 5 years or more senior. So it is not common but equally not uncommon.

The dating apps are very clear on this. Most desired age plotted against male age is a straight parallel with the Y axis.

Also obvious as to why. 18 yo bodies are better on average than 28, 38, 48, 58 or 68 bodies. Of course there other factors such as nature, character and personality.
